A little about Hyssop!

Hyssop is an ancient herb that is mentioned in the bible as a cleansing or purifying herb. Even King David in Psalms 51; 4 said to The Creator “purge me with Your Holy Hyssop” and I shall be clean: wash me and I shall be whiter than snow”. Also, in Exodus 12;22 The Most High commanded Israel to “take a branch of Hyssop and dip in it the basin of blood and put it on the lintel and the door post! This was done so that the death angel would pass over them that night. As He had planned to deliver them from the land of Egypt.

My Experience!

The day that I first tried “Holy Hyssop”, I prayed before my feet touched the floor as I would normally do! What herb should I try today? is what I asked The Most High. After praying I went on to my usually early day routine, taking care of my hygiene and straightening up my kitchen before I start the workflow. My mind was set on Vitex and Red Raspberry; however, when I looked for the Vitex, I couldn’t find it. I noticed the Hyssop sticking out as though it was saying “pick me, you need me”! By this time the water is boiling and I’m feeling like I need to make a decision. So, I went for it! adding a teaspoon full to my tea filter and pouring the boiling water over it as it sat in the mug. The Hyssop steeped for about 25 minutes before I tasted it! The smell was aromatic and sweet as well as the flavor, it is pleasant! I was about 6 -7 minutes into drinking this beautiful cleansing herb and I could feel the waste moving through my colon ready to be expelled. Okay, I’ll stop here! I’ve said enough! I’m sure you know where I’m going with this story. To bring it to a close “Hyssop” cleanses the colon and it works fast!
