Breakfast
This is my breakfast! and also my ice cream replacement! I don’t remember why and when I started eating smoothie bowls but I love love love them! I use to be a big ice cream eater, all that dairy and cane sugar wasn’t doing me any good. Somehow I got turned on to smoothie bowls and I haven’t looked back! I barely think of ice cream anymore, even non-dairy ice cream.
What is a smoothie bowl?
It is a thick smoothie, meant to be eaten with a spoon! The toppings are the best! This is a sure way to get in a lot of fiber. Smoothie bowls are also packed with minerals and vitamins… it’s all-natural!
I use mostly organic fruit and if not locally farmed fruit would be my next choice. Adding herbal powders are a good way to get in some extra nutrients. Some herbs that can be added are…
Dandelion, Nettle, Oatstraw, Maca, Sea Moss, Wheatgrass, Moringa, Burdock, and Kelp. I have a ready-made blend ( Hair Nail Skin Wellness ) on the products page. I make this for myself to add to my smoothies!
Oh Yeah! you will need a high-speed blender!
